The remit for this garden was to create an outdoor ‘living room’ with a focal point water feature and rendered raised beds that have rich planting. White porcelain paving areas are linked by antique grey composite decking pathways to create zones. A hot tub and handy outdoor shower are just some of the extras our clients wanted to incorporate.
The finished product is a garden with ample paved areas, a new formal lawn area with low maintenance trees and planting in curved borders. A garden cabin screened with slatted Venetian panels and a central area to sit, entertain and listen to the sound of gentle falling water.

This new build garden had irregular shaped boundaries and a pronounced gradient to address, our solution was to work with the gradient rather than fight against it and turn the entire design of the garden on a 15 degree angle. The result is an interesting scheme with triangular borders, 3 paved areas that follow the changing position of the sun throughout the day and a bespoke tiered rill water feature.
