Jamie

With over 25 years experience of garden design and landscaping Jamie formed Landscape Innovations to provide contemporary design and exceptional build quality with special attention given to planting and aims to create outside spaces that are easy to maintain, using materials that are timeless and complement our clients’ properties well.

Jamie’s interest in gardening stems right back to childhood and his first part-time job whilst a student was working for a very well know DIY chain in their landscaping/gardening department where he learnt all about paving and building materials and advised customers on plants (he still has the orange apron to prove it) he went on to working on new build sites and then progressed to designing and creating showhome gardens for developers across the East Midlands.

Nowadays he likes to put all his knowledge and knowhow into our clients gardens and after completing the design he carries out the build with the team. In his spare time he enjoys motorcycling, property renovation, music (he plays in a band) and looking after the wildlife in his own garden.

Ryan

Ryan is our Lead Landscaper and carries out all aspects of the build from groundworks, paving and rendering to water features and beyond. A trained bricklayer and highly skilled joiner and fabricator there’s nothing he can’t turn his attention to and he does it all with a smile and a sense of humour!

With a direct and methodical approach and a keen eye for detail Ryan works tirelessly to complete a scheme to the highest standard.

In his spare time he enjoys cycling, fishing, playing saxophone and more joinery – making furniture and one-off pieces as special commissions.

Nic

Nic is our multi-talented Assistant Landscaper and an expert in plant knowledge and horticulture. If he’s not assisting with the build he’ll be making sure the levels are correct and creating a wonderful lawn or planting trees and shrubs in positions that they’ll thrive and be happy.

His hobbies and interests include films and music, photography and film editing, ecological issues and tending to his allotment.

Susan

Susan is our finishing specialist and ensures the larger projects are perfectly gravelled, borders are barked, timber treated or paving is grouted to the highest standard.

In her spare time she’ll often be found at her holiday home or singing in front of thousands of people as part of her band at various festivals and gigs!
